Appearance:
Sen is slightly taller than most wolves his age, with broad shoulders and long legs giving him a good mix of speed and strength, honed by almost two years of hunting and fighting alone. His fur is mostly a dusty shade of grey, with the fur around legs developing a more yellowy colour, and black markings on his face, with a patch of white surrounding his muzzle. His blue eyes are set against patches of the same grey colour that covers most of his body. His paws are black, like his facial markings, and his tail is a mix of the two shades of grey on his body and legs.
Personality:
Asen is one never to forget a grudge, and enjoys a scrap more than most wolves, not really a good combination for a wolf who's meant to live a quiet, exiled life. Whereas some wolves try to avoid confrontation, Sen is comfortable in the knowledge that he is a strong fighter, and can beat many wolves, having killed more than a few in his time. He says very little about his past, so that many know almost nothing about his origins. He himself bears very little of his past about him, as, in his mind, it is his two nad a half years alone that have brought him all his skills and knowledge, so he practically ignores his childhood years. Sen bitterest grudge is with Dark, after a fight with him before the formation of the Ithara pack, and the fact that Dark now has a home, friends, family, and an "easy life" feels unjust to him, especially as he considers Dark a poor candidate to lead a pack. While Asen is cold and mean with the Ithara wolves, a wolf who knows nothing of him or the pack would find a completely different side, an almost friendly side, reminiscent of the days before he was exiled.
History:
Asen was born to the Betas of a small pack in the Eastern forest, and spent the first three years of his life living in a pack environment, his father an accomplished fighter and hunter, his mother also a skilled hunter, but who spent most of her time at home with her pup, bringing him up, while his father just trained him as a fighter, and pretty much left him to it. When Sen was just under three summers old, his father staged a coup and tried to take over the pack from the current, older Alpha male. With the pack practically split half and half, Asen's father cornered the older male, and almost succeeded in killing him, before a group of other males, some of them his own followers, attacked and killed him, before coming for his mate, Sen's mother, and killing her, but missing, fortunately, the young wolf snuggled underneath her body.
Sen made his way out, and fled, as the rest of the pack tore each other apart, leaving only a handful of wolves alive. Having spent a year and a half in the Western forest, Sen soon toughened up, and became the slightly unsavoury character he is now, killing most of his prey competition, other wolves, and living off the prey in the forest for several months, before Dark found his way to the forest from the mountains where he was born. Although he was distrustful of Dark from the instant he met him, not liking Dark's forgiving, peaceful nature, he readily joined the Ithara wolves when the pack first formed, eager for a family and a normal life. However, as he soon found out, the Ithara pack operated nothing like his birth pack, and the template in his head of a "normal pack". He disagreed strongly with the fact that Dark would remain Alpha forever, believing that if a stronger candidate was found, and he considered himself one of them, they should take over from the current Alpha, not simply bow down because he was there first.
This opposition, eventually leading to an open confrontation and fight with Dark, soon resulted in his exile, and a rather nasty scar down the side of his face, now buried in his fur. But, rather than retreat into the mountains, he remained in the forest, skirting around the Ithara pack whenever possible, and occasionally attacking them for prey, which, after the arrival of the pack in "his" woods, has been rather less abundant for the lone wolf, another bitter note to his dislike of the pack. That said, he doesn't hate the Ithara pack themselves, rather the opposite, his feud is with Dark, and, by connection, Liana, the two leaders who he feels do not deserve such a loyal and caring family. However, while he puts on a show of total resentment of the pack, given a good enough reason, or a great enough threat to them both, he would probably help them out. Joining altogether, however, would take something, or someone, very special to convince him.
