A gentle breeze swept through the surrounding trees of Eagle's Peak. Today was going to be a momentous occasion, but also a sad one. The large brute let out a heavy sigh as he waited at the base of Eagle's Peak. He would not take his place atop the rock until the others were here.
As the dark-pelted wolf waited for the others to arrive, his mind began to wander. He knew the young wolf he had chosen to become the leader of the second pack was capable enough, but something inside him struck fear into his heart. He didn't know why, but he felt like something was going to go wrong. Terribly wrong. He shook his head gently. No, that was just his overprotective paranoia talking. Liana would tell him so, were she here. He sighed again, though smiling this time, as he was reminded of his love. He had something to ask her once this was all over...
He snapped back to reality as he heard something rustle beside him. His icy-blue eyes darted over to the cause of the noise, only to see a small rodent running after a berry. Since he had no interest in hunting at the moment, he let the small creature run haphazardly around before letting out a low growl to announce his existence. The mouse froze before running off, and Dark smiled. Better to have it run off now than be caught by a young pup practising its hunting skills. He thought.

She tipped her head up slightly, tilting it to the side as if to hear better the noises drifting towards her on the gentle breeze. Everything around her was familiar, the sounds, sights, smells, all of it brought a fondness to her heart as the white wolf began to walk. Her tail swept across the leaf littered floor as she lowered her head again, ears flicking back.
Today was meant to be a momentous occasion. That's what she had to keep telling herself. Everything was perfect, the weather almost seemed to be smiling down at them. A growl sounded near and the alphess stiffened, waiting for a few moments before relaxing. The growl was so familiar to her, it was as if she had never heard anything else her entire life. Making a small nosie to announce she was there, Liana padded through the low bushes, smiling slightly at her love.
"Are you ready Dark? The othes will soon arrive." She questioned in a soft tone, moving to sit gently beside him. Her amber eyes gazed warmly at Dark, taking in his entire appearance. He seemed nervous to her, but then, what they were about to do, it was no wonder really.

A low whine escaped his open jaws as he trotted on through the trees toward Eagle's Peak, eyes set on the path ahead. Cuan ignored the sounds of forest around him, determined to make it to where the rest of the pack was probably assembling. I bet I will be the last to arrive. He thought grimly, lips pulling down into a frown of worry. I'll walk in and everyone will look at me...oooh..
The blue pelted wolf broke into a run, leaping across the ground in graceful bounds. He darted across the paw-flattened ground, moonlight filtering through the trees to dapple his dark coat. Cuan gave a quick glance to the sky, watching the unmoving stars with little to no interest, before his eyes snapped back to the path, seeing the trees thin out before him.
He paused just before the clearing, chest heaving and tongue lolling from his jaws. Catching his breath, he gave two small barks before he entered, making sure to glance around for any signs of trouble.
To a wolf with no knowledge of Cuan, they would probably see a young omega female, with long slender legs and narrow body under mixed grey fur. But to the members of the pack, Cuan was a powerful brute with an opposing personality, kind and cheerful whenever he wasn't worried or irritated. His size was enough for anyone to underestimate him, and many realized their mistake far too late, and the sting of embarrassment at being beaten by such a small male would follow them for a long time.
Cuan shook his head, looking up at Eagle's Peak. Please, to whatever gods are watching over me, please let me be here on time.

He didn't look up at her, but Dark instantly felt calmed as he heard Liana's soft voice. "Yes, I'm ready. I just hope the others are." He replied, slowly raising his muzzle and smiling at her. He gave her a gentle lick and nuzzled his dark fur into her snowy pelt, and felt reassured. No matter who remained a friend of Ithara, or who turned against them, he knew Liana would always stick by him.
His moment alone with her was broken, though, as the first of the others began to arrive. The two barks of announcement hit his ears, but instead of getting nervous, Dark simply smiled. I wonder who that could be... He thought. Letting out a bark in reply, allowing the wolf entry to Eagle's Peak, he lifted his muzzle again. The first of many...

A warm look spread across her features as she nuzzled him back, resting her smaller head against his side briefly. It felt good to be beside him, and it made Liana all the more confident that their decision was the best they could choose. "I'm sure they will be, and if not.... We can explain it to them, they'll understand." She answered in a softer tone as she glanced up. Amber eyes raked in the surroundings as her ears pricked up, listening curiously. The Alphess had just heard two short barks from another. Although she knew it would most likely be a friend of Ithara, it was better to be cautious. She stood, attempting to look as if she held authority, until she saw Cuan emerging into view.
The white wolf broke into a smile, sitting down again as she opened her jaws letting out a slight yawn. At the same time she returned a bark in responce, a gentle greeting as she followed Dark's gaze, raising her own muzzle skywards.

The small male trotted out in front of the two alphas, giving a quick nod to the two of them as he entered the clearing. "I apologize" He murmured, looking over his shoulder to glance back into the forest. "I was worried that I would be late, but it seems I'm one of the first to arrive." His ears straightened atop his head, giving away his relief at not being the last to arrive, but still he looked behind him, as if expecting others to appear from the shadows. "Have no others shown themselves?" He asked quietly, brushing a paw over his coal black nose as he came to sit before the peak. "I was sure that there would have been a few others here, at least.." Giving a shake of his dark coloured fur, Cuan looked up to the two with a good humoured expression, tongue lolling from his open jaws as he barked, "I'm sure they can't be too far off."

Dark allowed himself a reassuring smile. "No, you are in good time, Cuan. I have no ideas where the others of the pack are, but they should be arriving shortly. Perhaps I ought to go out and round them up myself..." He laughed. He let his cool blue gaze wash over Cuan's appearance, taking in the familiarity of his Beta wolf and good friend. Thinking for a moment, he turned to Liana. "I don't suppose there are any others of our pack nearby? I've been in one place for far too long to keep track of the others this morning."

A smile flickered into motion across her features as she curled her tail around to rest on her front paws. "There is nothing to apologize for Cuan, besides, we would have waited, even if you had been late." She answered gently. Glancing to Dark, a shiver ran down Liana's spine as she thought for a brief moment. "We should give them some time, it is early remember? Wait a while longer, then you can go off searching for them. From when I was arriving, I met no one, so they are probably wider spread and have a further distance to go." She spoke in a soothing tone, attempting to swallow the own, all be it currently small, fears that whelled up inside her as she wondered where the others were.

A lone wolf walked silently and slowly through the thick woodland as he headed towards a place known to wolves as Egale's Peak. He was a huge, dudsty brown wolfdog, his great size being the fault of his Saint Bernard father.
While he padded on, his mind wandered. He sensed much worry in the hearts of the wolves. There is something more going on here, he thought. Something deeper than sadness...is it fear?
This was worring. it was probably just axiety. Ofcourse everyone was worried. Two completely new packs, merging from one. It should be a peaceful times with alliances and growth. But still, his sight told him something was happening. He didn't want to know, yet he couldn't help sensing something tot do with the bablance.
Why do you worry so much?
He looked down. A small squirrel had rested on the ground in front of him. His connection with other animals helped him communticate with them. They often sensed each others feelings. But even smaller animals were normally afraid of him, he was one of the biggest animals in the forest. There was something different about this squirrel. She often talked to him when he was alone.
My pack has much uncertainty to deal with these seasons. We slipt apart, and make new familys, he replied.
Shouldn't that be happy?
Old friendships will be frayed, brothers and sisters will be torn apart. I fear for peace and balance.
Is that what this disturbance is?
You feel it aswell? He said with shock.
Ofcourse, she replyed cheekily.
This is very worrisome
I hope whatever problem you wolves are dealing with, you resovle them as some as possible...
The squirrel then ran off to another tree.
He sighed his huge chest and forced himself not to worry, as he kept walking. The alphas will deal with it. They've been great leaders.
Then suddenly, he found himself at the peak. He had walked all the way there without even noticing.
His worry melted off him as he trotted up to the alphas and the beta, dipping his head as he came to a stop in front of the three wolves.

A teen age loner wolf was walking silently hidding in the shadows of the forest around the eagle peak.
There`s a different feel...about this place. He thought while walking his paw steps not even making a single noise he was has silent as a carefull mouse.
His fur color`s were of a deep black brown color with faints copper marking on his tail near one of his ears, and two of his paws also on some other parts of his body, the only two things that could really be seen was his eyes one of them was of a brown like colored while the other one is of a clear blue almost silver colored.
The wolf was heading toward the top of the peak feeling the other wolves presance but not caring he had a reason to be heading there and he will fulfill it no matter who and what was standing there.
From there...i`ll see the whole area clearly. He thought still walking silently and slowly.

Sighing, Dark nodded, his heart lightened a little by Liana's words.
"You're probably right. I just feel a little anxious... I know the wolves of Ithara are trustful and morally-sound creatures, but I just cannot shake this feeling." He paused, sighing again, before smiling at them both. "I'm sure everything will come together in the end."
It was then, in the moment's silence between speech, that the great Alpha's ears pricked. He could hear someone coming. But who? He knew it was most likely to be an existing Ithara member, but still... As the newcomer approached, he picked up their scent. It was not a familiar one.
"Who are you?" He called out, his deep howl ringing out across the forest.
((Yes, he only thinks there's one wolf coming xDD Stupid Dark))

((You almost pity him, he's not exactly made many friends before Ithara has he? Redwood and Sen are his enemies, and he's got exiles on his back XD))
Liana seemed to shake her head slightly, which led to a full body shiver. Twitching her tail slightly, she dipped her head in greeting to the newest pack member to arrive. "It's good to see you here, we were beginning to worry others weren't going to come" She welcomed with both a gentle and pleased look.
Suddenly her ears stood to attention as she twisted her head sharply to gaze first at Dark. His deep howl always put her on edge, especially when there were strangers around. Rising in one bound, Liana lowered her head slightly, sniffing the earth. Crouching even lower, she moved forwards, tail high in the air to show her authority, teeth bared in a growl as she stood beside Dark.

The wolf was still hidding in the shadows not even shaked by the deep howl the only thing he thought was, So....the mud coudn`t hide my scent in case there would be other wolves around eh...? Interesting... He thought as he kept walking silently to the top.
Don`t bring your attention to those on top....im only here to see the whole area nothing else if they get in my way than i`ll have no choice but to retaliate. He whispered low in a sinister tone.

The howl rattled around the forest, but the hiding wolf barely flickered, his pale blue eyes taking in everything, a slight grin playing over his features at Dark's nervousness, and Liana's poor attempt at showing dominance. "They should have been kicked out years ago..." he thought, as he watched the pair atop the rock. After a quick check of the wind, which, pleasingly, found him downwind of the two Alphas and their wolves, he shifted slightly, swiping most of the spiky leaves and pine shards out from underneath his white belly, and lay down again, pinning himself low to the ground so that the bushes on either side protected him from being seen, and the wolves on the rock could only spot him if they really looked.
Now comfortable, he turned his attention to the two wolves with them. Cuan, the blue wolf, was almost instantly recognisable to him. Dark's friend and Beta. Well, that for one didn't bode well if he was found. The other appeared to be big and tough, but he was also part-dog... and talking to a squirrel. Probably not so much of a problem. Sen scanned the forest around the rock, "Eagles' Peak" as they called it. Apart from prey scurrying around in the rich forest that he called home, only one wolf came to his hearing, scurrying around, skirting around the rock. He decided it was probably just an exile, or a loner, and let it go. Whatever had caused the two Alphas to call every pack wolf and loner to them had to be big, as they were advertising the meeting to exiles and enemies. "And these two..." he thought "...are far too cowardly to do that without a VERY good reason."

He looked uneasily at Dark, laying his ears flat as he scaned the area.He sensed other presences about, too. He hope they weren't hostile whoever they are.
He looked back at Liana. "I'm sure they're on there way, m'lady," he assured her warmly, but he was uneasy himself. Hopefully the others weren't far off. The alphas don't need any more burdens on thier shoulders this season.

Dark kept his ears open, but couldn't hear much as it stood. He nodded to Liana, indicating that he needed her to keep her guard up for now, and padded a little further up Eagle's Peak. Normally, he would have waited a little longer, but now...
Dark has always known that his call for a meeting could attract potential enemies... but he has never anticipated that the rest of the pack would take so long, or that he would be surrounded by wolves so hesitant to show themselves. The atmosphere was not helping his anxiety one bit. He stopped a little way up Eagle's Peak, watching and waiting. From here, he could see a little more of the forest. But he still didn't feel any safer.

Liana nodded slightly to him, still looking nervous. "Yes, you are probably right...Though I can't help being anxious that so few have come yet." She answered in a soft voice. Seeing Dark's nod, Liana made a noise to show she had seen it, and began to pace, her gaze shifting each second to take in their surroundings. There was no new scent, other than the wolf she had briefly smelt before loosing them again. Silently she cursed herself and Dark. They should have kept the news of the meeting quieter, told the others in person, make sure the information would not fall onto the wrong ears. Liana knew of their enemies, she had had her fair share of fights with them, but the idea they were lurking in the shadows put her on edge.
Glancing up, Liana growled softly. There was something moving amongst the trees. It was too big to be a squirrel or any of the usual birds that frequeted the area. She growled again, louder this time to alert Dark of the creature climbing. However, she didn't speak to it, in case it wasn't a wolf.

Sen shifted his head, taking in the scene as Liana began to whip herself into a panic. Turning his head as if tracking her gaze, he looked into the undergrowth. There wasn't a sound to be heard, but, just by chance, the exile caught a glimpse of dark fur amongst the leaves. Some stupid loner trying to climb, he assumed. With a low growl, he half stood, half jumped, out of the bush, scattering leaves, and padding over through the undergrowth. If some wolf was trying to get up high, he was about to get a shock, as Sen bounded onto the base of the tree, landing, not very gracefully, on three paws, one slipping over the edge of the branch, facing up the trunk.
The grey wolf let out another low growl as his male instincts took over, and only as he looked to one side did he realise what he had just done. He froze, his eyes dimming in a mixture of despair and exasperation. How could he have been so stupid as to actually growl and run about right next to the meeting. He cursed inwardly, as life flooded back into his limbs, and he turned in a half circle, leaping from the tree before landing, body low, on the forest floor, another growl rumbling out of his throat. Once again he fixed his gaze on Liana, the only wolf he could actually see through the undergrowth, and pressed himself into a nearby bush, ignoring the few sparse thorns as he lay there, hoping and praying she would think it was the other wolf. As much as he would have liked to take a swipe at Dark, he didn't fancy fighting the whole pack unless he had to.
